Club Fishing Outings for 2012

In addition, the Fly Dressers Guild have invited our members to join in some of their outings. This offer comes thanks to our Jack Wilson who is a long standing member of the guild. The outings are all in the afternoon from 2pm to 8pm.

The first three are at Pen-y-Cae on May 6th, June 3rd and July 1st.
Pen-y-Cae can produce good hatches of Mayfly in June and July
Two more are at Ty Mawr on August 5th and September 2nd. Ty Mawr can produce good Sedge hatches from August onwards, so be prepared to stay late.
Both venues are medium sized reservoirs in the Wrexham region, stocked with fine fighting rainbows and highly recommended. For personal bookings contact Tony Jackson, Dee Valley Angling, 01978 846 946.

We are also involved in inter-club competitions.

Small groups of members have organised trips further afield including recently a visit to Lough Corrib in Ireland which proved to be a very enjoyable experience.
