First trim a black hackle as pattern. Tie in hackle at the eye. and wind thread to bend. Palmer hackle and body in touching turns to bend. Tie down tip poining over bend. Rib with thread to eye and whipfinish. Carefully cut out tip, leaving a few fibres for tail.
