Wing	4 Black hen hackles tied matuka style
Hackle	Black cock hackle, large

Strip wing hackles to length. Lay together as two back-to-back pairs. Strip the underside of each for the length of the hook.
After tying in rib and chenille, wind body. Tie in wing hackles at the eye, then fasten down with the rib. Tie in hackle and wind 2-3 turns.
The wing should extend beyond the bend for about half the hook length.
